Volunteer Positions
"Wild Side Gardeners"

We are looking to recruit a dedicated group of gardeners who will get involved with this project from the ground up, and together, care for this demonstration garden as if it were their very own backyard. Adopt a plot such as a butterfly or xeroscape garden and show off your green thumbs by helping it thrive.
"Work Day Wonders"
No time to commit to becoming a Wild Side Gardener but still interested in helping out? Become a Work Day Wonder and be notified of occasional group projects such as invasive plant pulls, building garden beds, renovating the wildlife viewing platform and helping out when you can.
Work Days Scheduled for 2012:
Earth Day Celebration - Invasive Plant Pulling Day: Join us Saturday, April 21st, 9am-3pm (for a couple hours or the whole day!) and celebrate Earth Day by removing invasive woody shrubs and plants. Help us create a blank canvas for spring plantings and the fall hardscaping work day! *WORK DAY WONDER VOLUNTEERS NEEDED*
Infrastructure and Hardscaping Work Day: Join other local volunteers and a work group from Timberland on Thursday, September 20th, 9am-3pm (for a couple hours or the whole day!) and assist in building fences and benches, installing a solar panel, digging a pond, and other hardscaping tasks that will make this space even more home-like!
To sign up for either of these Work Day Wonder opportunities or to be a Wild Side Gardener, please email Shannon O'Brien or call (603) 778-0015.
